Tree owners have a duty of care to ensure the safety of their property!
Trees in poor physiological and structural condition can seriously increase the risk of harm or damage!
Visual Tree Risk Assessment
If you are a tree owner and have any concerns regarding it's health, a VTA survey is the place to start. It is also worth remembering that tree owners have a duty of care to ensure the safety of anyone that could come into contact with their trees.
A VTA (Visual Tree Risk Assessement) survey caried out by one of our qualified and experienced surveyors gathers ey pieces of information to help build up a picture of the health of the tree or trees in question. This includes structural and physiological defects (such as the presence of decay fungi) that may pose potential problems to the safety of people and property.
Each tree is given recommendations as to appropriate treatment.
We also have surveyors who can also undertake a QTRA or 'Quantative Tree Risk Assessment Survey' using the patented method if this is something that you require.
This involves a similar method as VTA but uses a special calculator to build up an odds based risk of failure. Further information available on request.
A tree survey gives an overall assessement of trees, good or bad
A detailed tree survey highlights problems but it can also save money, after all, not all trees require remedial work!
